Prophecy and the 2024 Election

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place (Habakkuk 2:3, NLT).

Wouldn’t it be nice, with the confusion of this election cycle, if God would send us a prophecy on how to vote? I believe in Biblical prophecy, and perhaps the words of the prophets have already explained how we should vote.

We need to study and listen to God’s Word. What does it say about voting in 2024? Ask the following questions about politicians according to these Biblical prophecies about the end times:

  1. Who trusts in God rather than the money?

Scripture teaches that greed and materialism will predominate in the last days.

You believe your wealth will buy security, putting your family’s nest beyond the reach of danger (Habakkuk 2:9b).

Has not the Lord of Heaven’s Armies promised that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes? (Habakkuk 2:13a)

  1. Who stands faithful to Scripture and godliness?

In the end times, ungodliness will be the norm, with good being called evil and evil proclaimed as good.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers [politicians] who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear (2 Timothy 4:3).

Most politicians talk about God and the Bible as if they attended seminary, went to church every day of the week, and said their prayers before bedtime. But the Bible itself predicts . . .

They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly (2 Timothy 3:5).

  1. Who recognizes Israel as the focal point of history?

The focal point of the end times is Israel.

It will go on for a time, times, and half a time. When the shattering of the holy people has finally come to an end, all these things will have happened (Daniel 12:7b).

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God” (Zechariah 8:7, NIV).

  1. Who honors the family?

Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord arrives. His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse (Malachi 4:5-6, NLT).

We should vote for those who trust God, follow Scripture, look for the return of Jesus in Israel, and honor the Biblical family.

But where do we find politicians like this?
