For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established. Romans 1:11
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12:7
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:11
It is the last days and God will give spiritual gifts abundantly. To understand how God gives spiritual gifts consider…
Impartation – Manifestation – Distribution
It sounds like I’m describing an Amazon Fulfillment Center. Those living close to an Amazon Center can get online, order an item, and during checkout be told that if you order within… 33 seconds… you will get it tomorrow.
And it’s free delivery if you are an Amazon Prime member.
Once, I purchased a couple of hundred dollars worth of stuff that I wasn’t sure I needed because I had only… 15 seconds… left of ordering time.
I wish I could order spiritual gifts and get them tomorrow.
God, I need healing; if I pray right now, will you heal me by tomorrow? Father, if I travel to Bethel or Elevation or IHOP will you make me a great worship leader? Spirit, if I get this great saint of God to pray for me, can I have the gift of making lots of money?
Spiritual gifts aren’t received from Amazon Prime. God has a better system of delivery:
Impartation: Grace or spiritual gifts received by your prayers, someone praying for you, or God’s sovereign calling.
Manifestation: The Spirit bringing to light or revealing grace and gifts through you so that you can help others.
Distribution: Gifts apportioned according to God’s will and His calling in each follower.
God is not slow. God’s will is never hindered. The Spirit doesn’t send the wrong gift. The Spirit doesn’t lose your prayer. Jesus has an unlimited supply. Jesus doesn’t misplace a request.
Steadily seeking God, asking in faith, having a willingness to obey, purifying self, humbly serving, and relying upon God’s timing equals…
God generously giving everything that you need, exactly when you need it, and you will never have to or want to return His gifts!
Having the Spirit within you far surpasses Amazon’s delivered “tomorrow” promise.
I use Amazon Prime often.
My primary reason is that I can’t find things that I need in the stores in my hometown. I once ordered barbells for exercise that never arrived. Sometimes I get a message of “out of stock” with a future delivery date. But my experiences have been mostly positive.
I don’t expect perfection.
I have traveled to faraway places for prayer and renewed anointing. A couple of times I received something very important, but other times, I wasn’t sure. I’ve watched others healed in meetings and others walk away disappointed. I’ve asked for miracles and continue to ask for miracles.
But as I experience the impartation, manifestation, and distribution of God’s grace and gifts – I find them perfectly delivered according to God’s will.
That’s the real difference between the logistics of Amazon and the favor of God – it is God’s will, not my expectations! He can have this minute, tomorrow, or next year delivery dates, but He always delivers.
Carefully watch the next couple of years as the impartation, manifestation, and distribution of God’s gifts become increasingly and powerfully present.
After all, He has a Fulfillment Center in you!
