God does the impossible.
In creation something came from nothing — there was nothing and in a nanosecond the universe and even time existed. Something can’t come from nothing. Science says it’s impossible.
Moses and the entire nation of Israel were in difficulty. Behind Israel was Pharaoh and the mightiest army in the world and in front of Israel the Red Sea. An impossible situation. We know the end of the story. God does the impossible.
Jesus was dead. Nobody comes back from the dead. The pivotal event in history is a resurrection. The impossible became possible. That same power resides in us.
The impossible becomes possible with our prayers now!
E-learning below (fill the blanks)
Luke 1:27 – For nothing is ______________ with God!
Matthew 19: 26—With us this is ____________, but with God all things are __________!
Our mundane praying is the number one hindrance to God and the impossible today.
Paul prays for the Ephesians, “Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond what we ask or even imagine.”
Let’s do an OGV (Old Guy Version) of Ephesians 3:20, “Allow God to give you the visions and dreams of what is possible – that will cause you to ask specific requests far above what you imagined asking or thought possible.”
There are two directions today for us and the church. Hibernate in mundane prayers and let the crises dictate world events. Or seek God, praying for revival, for healing, and for an outpouring of God’s Spirit.
Ask the Lord for dreams and visions of the impossible becoming the possible. The impossible should be the norm for the church.
My prayers below. Pray with me and add your own:
- The Covid Crisis to stop soon!
- The economy to rebound quickly!
- The church to emerge from quarantine to embrace the greatest revival in history.
- Miracles will become mundane because of our prayers!
